We would like to invite you to the Tame Valley Wetlands’ Community Links Working Group.
The Tame Valley Wetlands is a landscape partnership project aiming to create a wetland landscape, rich in wildlife and accessible to all between Birmingham and Tamworth. For more information, please visit www.tamevalleywetlands.co.uk. Our working groups are an opportunity for you to find out more about what is happening, network with peers, and influence our work. We will hold working groups quarterly for each of the following themes: natural heritage, training and education, access, and community links. We will focus on community group support at this next Community Links Working Group.
We want to work with local community groups to bring added value to their work, and to the area. This is particularly true, for those community groups whose aims and vision match or overlap ours. We are therefore keen to support existing groups in a number ways.
This working group is an opportunity for you to find out about our work and our plan to work with local groups, but it is also your opportunity to influence it! We need your help to know how best to work with local groups, and how we can be of most help to them. Any suggestions are welcome.
Of course, we won’t be able to take on and deliver every single suggestion we receive, but we promise we will listen and consider it. It will also be a great opportunity to network with local groups, charities and stakeholders. Please let us know if you can make it.
