Warwickshire Wildlife Trust and Staffordshire Wildlife Trust are seeking TWO motivated and skilled individuals to join the Tame Valley Wetlands (Landscape Partnership) Scheme.
Both roles are funded through the Heritage Lottery Fund for 3 years (fixed-term contracts) and will be located at the Tame Valley Wetlands Office, Hams Hall Environmental Centre, Coleshill, North Warwickshire B46 1GA. Both will involve lone working, with regular travel across North Warwickshire and Tamworth. Access to your own vehicle is required (mileage reimbursed).
The roles could potentially be combined to provide a full time post for the right candidate. You will need to complete an application form for both posts.

Access Improvements Officer
Employer: Warwickshire Wildlife Trust.
Salary: £20,500 pro rata plus pension.
Hours: 21 hours (3 days) per week.

The job will involve working with partners, landowners, contractors, local groups, volunteers and other key stakeholders to coordinate, plan, deliver and promote inclusive physical access improvements and responsible recreational opportunities (e.g. walking, cycling, canoeing, horse riding, etc.) across the Tame Valley Wetlands landscape.
Youth Engagement Officer
Employer: Staffordshire Wildlife Trust.
Salary: £21,900 pro rata plus 10% pension.
Hours: 25 hours (3.5 days) per week.

The job will involve overseeing the development and delivery of a youth programme to engage young people in a wide range of positive activities. The Youth Engagement Officer’s work will provide young people with a greater appreciation for the local heritage, the knowledge and skills to look after the land in a sustainable way, and develop firm foundations for young people’s future lives in the area.
