Hams Hall Environmental Studies Centre
Hams Hall Environmental Studies Centre is a hidden oasis of nature within an urban landscape.
Hams Hall Environmental Centre (HHEC) is a satellite office of Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, and the base for the Tame Valley Wetlands team.
HHEC is situated within the walled kitchen garden of Hams Hall Manor and backs onto the Church Pool Coppice woodland. Next door is Saint John the Baptist Church, Lea Marston. The site is embedded in local history.
Within the grounds visitors can explore the arboretum, the wildlife pond, and our replica Iron Age roundhouse.
HHEC is not open to the public, however it is the home of many school visits led by Warwickshire Wildlife Trust's education team, and various events and training opportunities held throughout the seasons.
The neighbouring church yard of John the Baptist Church, and adjacent Church Pool Coppice woodland, are freely open to the public. Please advise dogs must be kept on leads to minimise disturbance to wildlife.
The building has a small office space and a classroom/meeting room. The meeting room and walled garden is available for hire - please contact enquiries@tamevalleywetlands.co.uk or use our contact form to book.
