The Tame Valley Wetlands Landscape Partnership is committed to protecting your privacy. It is very important to us and we respect anyone’s concerns about maintaining it. This statement tells you how and why we use your personal information.

Who are we?

The Tame Valley Wetlands Landscape Partnership is a partnership of organisations working to improve the landscape and heritage of the Tame Valley Wetlands for people and wildlife. We are not a company/charity in our own right – the Partnership is led by Warwickshire Wildlife Trust and funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. In most circumstances, any personal information will be held by Warwickshire Wildlife TrustStaffordshire Wildlife Trust and the RSPB (as delivery partners).

What is personal information?

Personal information is defined as information about you that is personally identifiable such as your title, name, address, email address and phone number.

Information collection and use

Your privacy is important to us. Wherever we collect personal information it will be processed fairly and lawfully. We respect your privacy and will not rent, sell or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies.

E-newsletter
By signing up to our e-newsletter you opt in to receiving information via email from us about the work of the Tame Valley Wetlands Landscape Partnership (approximately once every 3 months). Your details will be stored for as long as you subscribe to our e-newsletter. Your personal data will only be used by the Tame Valley Wetlands Landscape Partnership c/o Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, Staffordshire Wildlife Trust and the Heritage Lottery Fund (and the RSPB prior to March 2018) in relation to keeping you up-to-date with our work and not for any other purposes. Your information will be kept confidential via the MailChimp marketing platform and we will not share or sell your data to any other third parties.

Event bookings
By signing up to one of our events you opt in to receiving information from us about the event. Your personal data will only be used by the Tame Valley Wetlands Landscape Partnership c/o Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, the Heritage Lottery Fund and the Activity Leader for the event (also the RSPB prior to March 2018) in relation to health & safety and evaluation of the event, and not for other purposes. Your information will be kept confidential and we will not share or sell your data to any other third parties. We use Eventbrite to collate and hold this information.

Jobs / Volunteering
If you send us a job application, volunteering enquiry or CV we may want to keep your details on file in case an opportunity comes up in the future. If you’d rather we didn’t do this, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing enquiries@tamevalleywetlands.co.uk and we’ll delete your records.

If you volunteer with us, we will ask you to complete a Volunteer Registration Form. We will use this information for health, safety and welfare reasons and for monitoring and evaluation purposes. Personal information will be kept confidential and held by the Tame Valley Wetlands Landscape Partnership c/o Warwickshire Wildlife Trust and Staffordshire Wildlife Trust (also the RSPB prior to March 2018). Information may be shared with our funder, the Heritage Lottery Fund, as required. We will not share or sell your data to any other third parties.

Accessing your data
You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. Please note that, in accordance with the Data Protection Act, a £10 admin fee is applicable. For further information, please contact us using the email form or email enquiries@tamevalleywetlands.co.uk.

Unsubscribe / removal of information
You can ask us to delete your information or unsubscribe from our email distribution lists, please contact us or email unsubscribe@tamevalleywetlands.co.uk. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails via MailChimp by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of an email.
