The Tame Valley Wetlands Living Map shows how the valley has changed over the centuries, through natural and human influences, from its formation at the end of the last Ice Age, through the arrival of human settlers, up to the modern era and the impact of industry, canals, railways, roads, gravel pits and mining on the landscape and wildlife.
