Tender Opportunity – 2 projects in Brueton Park, Solihull

Warwickshire Wildlife Trust are working with Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council to deliver river and pool enhancements in Brueton Park, Solihull and would like to offer the chance to tender for these works.

We have 2 separate projects to tender for from different funders but due to procurement processes they must be priced individually.  If submitting a tender for both projects it would be advantageous to have a price for undertaking each project individually and a price for undertaking both works at the same time (ease of mobilization and logistics considered with both projects delivered together).

We are extending the tender deadline for both the Alderbrook and River Blythe projects to 30th August 2021 – 17:00.

Please note that the Environment Agency have advised we are able to undertake the desilting works on both ponds and soft marginal bank creation until March 2022.

All other in stream works (concrete bed removal & minor bank scrapes) require completion in very early October 2021.

If you would like to tender for part of the works i.e. just the de-silting due to availability or otherwise then we will accept and consider tenders for this.

Please find documents attached for:

Alderbrook Riverine Enhancement works (Concrete channel bed removal, pool creation etc.)  Tender deadline 1pm Monday 23rd August

We are looking for a quick turn around on this due to project deadline.  It is planned that the works should be undertaken September to October 2021 but final deadline of March 22 if contingency is required.

Please send completed tender documents to Emily Reilly Emily.Reilly@wkwt.org.uk or post hard copy FAO Emily Reilly, WWT, Brandon Marsh Nature Centre,  Brandon Lane,  CV3 3GW.
