Tree planting at Water Orton Primary School

On December 9th 2021 the Tame Valley team joined the year 6 pupils at Water Orton Primary School to plant over 200 native tree saplings and 300 bulbs around the school field.

We had a great time working with the class, and it was wonderful to see everyone getting stuck in to create a fantastic asset for both nature and the school.

We really enjoyed hearing the pupils talk about their experiences with nature, how much they enjoy being outside and how we need to look after the wildlife.

Thank you to Water Orton School for inviting us to join and for your hard work on the day!
