Plug planting at Dairy Farm

Our volunteers have been working with Andrew, our Water and Habitats Specialist, at Dairy Farm, Maxstoke, to plant native plug plants and seeds along the wetland scrape that has been created.

After checking back recently we are pleased to find the plants have survived and the seeds have germinated successfully. We’ll return in a few more weeks to, fingers crossed, see them growing well!

Check back soon for more updates…

This work is part of our Blythe Alive project, funded by Defra’s Water Environment Grant.
